Getting started with Reputably

1. Start your free trial

Create your account at app.reputably.net/signup. The trial runs for 7 days and does not ask for a card up front, so you can see real results before deciding. After the trial, plans start at $99.

Choose email and password or Google sign-up. A successful sign-up takes you into your account. The welcome guide offers an optional AI-agent connection; you can continue with the web app without connecting an agent.

2. Add your business

Open Businesses and select Add Business. Choose the method that fits your business:

• Add via website: enter your Website URL, check the Business Name, then save. You can use this path without a Google profile.
• Search on Google Maps: find the business by name or address and check the selected location before saving.
• Import from Google Business Profile: connect the Google account that manages your locations, then select the locations to import.

Adding a business creates its record. It starts inactive; activation is the next step.

3. Activate the business and choose starter tracking

On the business card, select Activate. Review the trial, capacity or billing option shown for your account before confirming. Adding more locations can change billing; the activation dialog shows the available choices.

When available, Set up tracking for me is selected by default. Leave it selected to create starter brand and topic trackers and AI visibility prompts after the business profile finishes loading. If you prefer to configure these yourself, clear it before confirming.

Reputably fills the available empty tracking capacity. Existing trackers are kept, so activation does not replace work you have already configured.

4. Review your tracking setup

Check the business name, services and location in the profile. Then review the generated keywords, listening areas and AI prompts so they describe the customers and markets you serve. For manual setup, follow Set up lead monitoring and Set up AI visibility tracking.

Lead monitoring reads supported public sources and does not require social media passwords. Coverage varies by source: see Data sources and limitations. Suggested replies need your review; you post social replies from your own account.

5. Connect Google for review replies

You can monitor conversations and AI visibility without connecting Google. To sync and reply to Google reviews, use Connect Google in Businesses and select the account that manages the relevant Business Profile locations. A website or Maps listing alone does not authorize replies to that profile.

Follow Set up Google review replies to review the reply settings before enabling automatic responses.

If your first results are not visible yet

• The business is inactive: return to Businesses and complete Activate. Saving a business alone does not start monitoring.
• The profile or starter setup is still loading: wait for the progress state to finish, then inspect the profile and tracking configuration.
• A feed is empty: check the selected business, source and date filters. A successful run can find no matching public conversations.
• Reviews are visible but replies are unavailable: check that the managing Google account is connected to that location.

Collection and AI runs take time; this guide does not promise instant results. You can return to your account at app.reputably.net using the sign-in method you chose.
