Editorial policy

Useful first. Sourced where facts matter.

This policy explains how Reputably creates educational content, discloses assistance and handles corrections.

Our editorial promise

Every Reputably article should help a reader make a better decision or perform a useful task even if they never buy the product. We do not publish pages whose only meaningful difference is a swapped city or service keyword, and we do not fabricate customers, performance results, statistics or product capabilities.

Sources and claims

Article source metadata is the authoritative source list. Claims that depend on external facts are linked to their supporting source in context, and the same sources appear in the generated Sources section. We prefer current primary material such as official documentation, platform policies, standards, government publications and original research.

AI assistance and authorship

Articles may be researched or drafted with AI assistance. The publishing workflow checks factual claims against linked sources and runs automated metadata, citation, link and build validation. Posts are credited to Reputably Editorial; we do not present them as written or reviewed by a named person unless that is true.

Product references

Reputably publishes this blog and may mention its product when it is relevant to the reader’s task. Product statements should match the current website and documentation. Comparisons should describe documented capabilities precisely and must not treat missing public documentation as proof that another product lacks a feature.

Updates and corrections

We update an existing article when new evidence materially improves the same answer. A displayed updated date should reflect a substantive change, not artificial freshness. To report an error or request a correction, email contact@reputably.net with the article URL and the supporting evidence.
